Privacy
What happens to the information you send us. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
Thermspot ApS, Alsion 2, 6400 Sønderborg, Denmark, CVR 46780698. You can reach us at mail@thermspot.com. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
- Contact form: name, email, company (optional) and your message.
- Pilot application: name, company, email, phone (optional), technology, number and type of machines, country and your message.
- Industry survey: your answers. Name, company, email and phone are optional. Without them, your answers are anonymous to us.
- Applications by email: the CV and message you send to hr@thermspot.com. We use them only to handle your application and delete them when you ask us to.
We do not store IP addresses from these forms. To limit spam and abuse, the server keeps scrambled values derived from your IP address (for at most one hour) and from your email address (for at most 24 hours); they cannot be turned back into the originals. The email address you enter is also checked against public DNS records to see whether its domain can receive mail.
Why we use it
To answer your message, to follow up on a pilot application, and to understand the market for calibration of powder-bed 3D printers. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on each form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who sees it
The Thermspot team. Submissions are stored on our web hosting server and sent to our email. Our hosting and email providers process the data for us. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and pilot details for as long as we need them to handle your request or an ongoing conversation, and delete them when you ask us to. Survey answers without contact details may be kept as research data.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent. Write to mail@thermspot.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own server. The one exception is the map on the contact page: it is loaded from Google only if you click “Show map”, and Google may then set cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy. The plain “Open in Google Maps” link does not load anything until you click it. If a security check is shown, it is provided by Cloudflare (Turnstile) and loads from Cloudflare's servers.
